73rd constitutional amendment of India 1992 introduced Rural Local Government, Panchayti Raj system. According to this amendment the Local Self-government should be set up at three levels. The three tier structure of panchayti Raj is following-

1- Village Panchayat- At village level

2- Panchayat Samiti- At block level.

3- Zila Parishad- At district level
