Rajeev buys good worth Rs. 6650. He gets a rebate of 6% on it. After getting the rebate, he pays sales tax @ 10%. Find the amount he will have to pay for the goods.

Answers (1)

Rajeev buys good = 6650 Rupees

Get rebates = 6650x6/100

                   = 399

Net worth of the good = 6650-399 = 6251

Sales tax = 6251x10/100

                = 625.1

Net amount he paid for the good = 6251 + 625.1 = 6876.1
