Given The ratio of stamps of Rani and Raja is 1:2

Let Rani have x umber of stamps initially. So raja will have 2x stamps 

When Rani received 35 stamps from Raja the ratio is  4:3 that is 

\\\frac{x+35}{2x-35}=\frac{4}{3}\\\\3x+3\times35=8x-4\times35\\\\8x-3x=3\times35+4\times35\\\\5x=7\times35\\\\x=\frac{7\times35}{5}=49

Total number of stamps=3x=  3 x 49=147
