What are the Vedanga?

The Vedanga are organs of the Veda. These are auxiliary disciplines of Hunduism, that adopted in ancient time. There are six Vedanga, which represents six various organs of Veda. These six Vedanga and their organs of Veda are following-

  Vedanga         Organ of Veda

1- Shiksha  -     Nose

2- Nirukta   -     Ears

3- Jyotish   -      Eyes

4- Kalpa      -       Hands

5- Vyakarana -    Mouth 

6-Chanda       -     Legs
