Given integral \int \sec x ( \sec x + \tan x ) dx;

\int (\sec^2x+ \sec x \tan x ) \ dx

Using the integral of trigonometric functions

= \int (sec^2 x )\ dx+ \int \sec x \tan x\ dx

= \tan x + \sec x +C , where C is any constant value.
