Given AP series is

\small \frac{1}{3},\frac{5}{3},\frac{9}{3},\frac{13}{3},...

Now, the first term of this AP series is \frac{1}{3}

Therefore,

The first term of AP series (a) = \frac{1}{3}

Now,

a_1=\frac{1}{3} \ \ and \ \ a_2 = \frac{5}{3}

And common difference (d)  = a_2-a_1 = \frac{5}{3}-\frac{1}{3} = \frac{5-1}{3} =\frac{4}{3}

Therefore, the first term and the common difference is \frac{1}{3} and  \frac{4}{3} respectively
