Given that 100g of Copper sulphate CuSO_{4};

1 mole of CuSO_{4} contains 1 mole of copper.

Molar Mass of Copper sulphate is:

= 63.5 + 32.00 + 4\times 16.00 = 159.5g

Now, 159.5g of copper sulphate contains 63.5g of copper.

So, 100g of copper sulphate will contain copper content:

 =\frac{63.5}{159.5}\times 100 = 39.81g
