In $\triangle \mathrm{ABC}$,
$\angle \mathrm{A}+\angle \mathrm{ABC}+\angle \mathrm{ACB}=180^{\circ}$
$\Rightarrow \angle A+69^{\circ}+31^{\circ}=180^{\circ}$
$\Rightarrow \angle A +100^{\circ}=180^{\circ}$
$\Rightarrow \angle A=180^{\circ}-100^{\circ}$ $\Rightarrow \angle A=80^{\circ}$
$\angle \mathrm{A}=\angle \mathrm{BDC}=80^{\circ}$ (Angles in the same segment)
