Put , V=IR in equation 1

   P=I^2R

Pur , I=\frac{V}{R}    in equation 1,

P=V\times \frac{V}{R}=\frac{V^2}{R}

P= power, V=potencial difference, I= current,R=resistance

P cannot be IR^{2}.

Thus, option B is correct.
