Equation of path of a projectile -

y= x \tan \theta\: - \: \frac{gx^{2}}{2u^{2}\cos ^{2}\theta }

it is equation of parabola

g\rightarrow    Acceleratio due to gravity

u\rightarrow    initial velocity

\theta = Angle of projection

- wherein

Path followed by a projectile is parabolic is nature.

V = k (yi + xj)

\frac{dx}{dt} = ky

\frac{dy}{dt} = kx

\frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{x}{y}

\Rightarrow xdx = ydy , on integrating this

y2 = x2 + C

Option 1)

 y=x^{2}+constant

Option 2)

y^{2}=x+constant

Option 3)

y^{2}=x^{2}+constant

Option 4)

xy = constant
