The kinetic energy of a body becomes four times of its initial value, then new momentum will

Answers (1)

Let us consider a body of mass m.

Let the body is moving with velocity v.

The kinetic energy of the body

The momentum of the body [ P] = m×v

   We know

                            [ ?m and 2 are constants]

As per the question, K.E is increased by 4 times.

Hence, from above it is obvious that momentum P will be increased by 2 times.
