Let the natural length be l and force constant is k =YA

and \begin{aligned} & l_1=l+\frac{T_1}{k} \quad\left(F=k \Delta l \text { or } \Delta l=\frac{F}{k}\right) \\ & l_2=l+\frac{T_2}{k} \end{aligned}

Solving these two above equation, we get

l=\frac{l_1 T_2-l_2 T_1}{T_2-T_1} \quad
