To calculate the NEET score candidates need to carefully go through the official answer key which will be released by NTA. Candidates will have to match and calculate the number of answers they have marked correct and incorrect. To calculate the NEET total marks obtained, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below.
Download the NEET official answer key 2024 by NTA
Match the answers marked with the responses in the NEET UG answer key
Calculate the number of correct and incorrect answers using the marking scheme
Multiply the number of correct answers by 4 (X) and incorrect answers by 1 (Y) respectively
Subtract the total of incorrect answers from the correct answers
Candidates should be aware of NEET marking scheme to calculate their expected scores. The table below mentions NEET 2024 marking scheme.

Based on the marking scheme and the number of correct and incorrect answers, candidates can calculate their score using the formula mentioned below.

If candidates find any discrepancy in the NTA NEET answer key, they could raise objections. Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs. 200 per answer to the challenge. Candidates can pay the fee in an online mode via credit card, debit card, or net banking. Aspirants can check the NEET answer key challenge process below.
After receiving the objections, NTA will assess the queries with the help of experts. If the objection raised by the candidate is accepted, the challenged answer will be corrected. A revised NEET 2024 answer key with the correct answer will be released by the authorities and the challenge fee paid by the candidate will be refunded. However, if the objection raised is not accepted, the NEET official answer key 2024 by NTA will remain the same and will not be revised. It must be noted that, in this case, the fee paid by the candidate for objecting will not be refunded. Check the steps to challenge the NEET answer key 2024 below:

Click on the ‘apply for key challenge’ tab.
Select the question paper code.
NEET 2024 question paper for the respective code will appear on the screen.
Each question will have a column of ‘Answer as per NTA’ and ‘Suggested answer by candidate.’
The ‘Answer as per NTA’ column mentions the answer released by NTA
Select the question or questions you wish to challenge.
Under the ‘Suggested answer by candidate,’ four answer key options will appear.
Click and submit the option you believe is the correct answer.
Verify the challenges you have opted for and click on the final submit.
Click on the ‘Go for payment’ option to pay the challenging fee.
Select the mode and make the payment.
Download the key challenge receipt.
Take multiple printouts of the receipt for future reference.
NTA will release the NEET OMR sheet or the answer booklet of the candidates who will appear for the entrance test. The OMR sheet of NEET 2024 will be released for candidates to verify the answers marked by them. In case candidates notice any discrepancy in the answer they marked and the answer shown in the released NEET OMR sheet, they will be given a chance to raise objections. To challenge the NEET OMR sheet 2024, candidates will have to pay a challenging fee of rupees 200 per question. The challenging fee is non-refundable even if the claim of the candidates is found to be correct.
In addition to verifying their responses, candidates with the help of the released OMR sheet and answer key can calculate the marks scored by them in the NEET UG exam. Students can tally the answers released by NTA in its official answer key and the answers marked by them in the OMR sheet.

you can apply for neet while studying class xii but you will be able to appear for neet exam after class xii results .
Also you must fulfill all the eligibility criteria set for neet exam .
The most important and first requirement for appearing Neet is that you must have completed 17 years at the time of applying for neet.
You must have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks in physics + chemistry + biology . For sc , st category students there is relaxation of 5% in marks .
