Assertion is correct because Snapdragon shows in complete dominance as none of the alleles is dominant over the other allele. This results in a mixed phenotype i.e. the mixture of both features.
Reason is also correct because when pure bred flowers of Snapdragon were crossed with white flowers of Snapdragon then they resulted in the production of white flowers this means that none of the alleles is dominant over the other and there is a production of mixed phenotype. So in incomplete dominance both the alleles are partially expressed.
So both assertion and reason are correct and the reason is the correct explanation of the assertion.
Option a is the correct answer.
