\mathrm{ \alpha=\frac{\Delta I_c}{\Delta I_e} \Rightarrow \Delta I_c=0.98 \times 2=1.96 \mathrm{~mA} }

\mathrm{ \Delta I_b=\Delta I_e-\Delta I_c=2-1.96=0.04 \mathrm{~mA}}

Hence option 1 is correct.
