Consider the following elements (atomic numbers are given in parenthesis)  Ca(20) ;    K(19) ;     F(9) ;     Be(4)

 (a) Select :

(ii) K_{19} = 2,8,8,1

(iii) F_{9} = 2,7

(iv) Be_{4} = 2,2

K19 has one electron in the outermost shell.

(ii) Be_{4} and Ca_{20} belongs to the same group i.e., group 2. They both have two electrons each in their outermost shell.
