Essay on Healthy Food
Healthy food is a food that is good for one's health. It contains all the necessary vitamins, proteins, calcium, carbohydrates and fats. All these nutrients are required to make one's body happy and healthy. A healthy food is also known as a balanced diet. A diet that is good for our body and for our physical growth, mental development and social development. This diet has all the necessary food items that we need for the proper functioning of our body parts, muscles, limbs, bones , skletetal system and brain.
A healthy food item starts with a good diet chart that is suitable for a particular age group and gender . It contains appropriate calories and other essential nutrients that are to be taken properly within a day. It starts with a glass of warm lemon water with honey or a glass of jeera water early in the morning. Next we take some chapatti/ roti, bowl of vegetables and milk for breakfast. In between we add some seasonal fruits. Next, for lunch we have a roti with dal , rice and some salads. For evening snack, some green tea and healthy snacks. For dinner, we have two Roti's, chapattis, soup or some seasonal vegetables. Along with some seasonal fruits and salads.
