Good morning esteemed principal sire, teachers and my dear friends. Today, I will be speaking on the topic “Travel and tourism”. Travel is going someplace with a distance of time. Tourism is travel for leisure, recreational and business purposes. Travel is a vital part of human life. Travel provides a fresh outlook to one’s life. It energises, refreshes and gives us pleasure. Travelling takes us to new places and helps us admire the beauty of nature. Tourism is not only beneficial for the tourist but also for the town or place they are visiting as it provides employment to people and generates money for them. Places like Thailand, Maldives, Andaman and Nicobar islands employment comes from tourism. Tourism not only provides employment but helps us realise the importance of nature. No one wants to visit barren lands for pleasure. It is important to save nature and keep it intact. We only have one home which is earth. It is our effort to save our own home from being demolished. You have been a kind audience. Thank you.
