Solution: Let $f(x)=ax^2+bx+c.$

Now, $(a+c)^2< b^2$

$Leftrightarrow$ $(a-b+c)(a+b+c)< 0$

$Rightarrow$ $f(-1)f(1)< 0$ .

Thus , $ax^2+bx+c=0$ has a real root between $-1$ and $1$

The other root also must be real.
