Solution:   Let f(x)=ax^2+bx+c.

                 Now,   (a+c)^2< b^2

                 Leftrightarrow      (a-b+c)(a+b+c)< 0

                 Rightarrow    f(-1)f(1)< 0.

            Thus , ax^2+bx+c=0 has a real root between -1 and 1

           The other root also must be real.
