The nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions in the human body. The nervous system carries out its functions in coordination with the hormonal system. Nerves don't reach every corner and not of the body and for this reason, it needs assistance from hormones to control all parts of the body.
Hormonal control is mainly based on a feedback mechanism and tells the body to either slow down or pace up, as per the situation.
On the other hand, nervous control is more of direct control. Both of them are a complement to each other. So, nervous and hormonal systems together perform the function of control and coordination in human beings.
