The planning and execution for the India's mission Mars was done by Indian Space Research Organization, also known as ISRO. Indian Space Research Organization launched the mission by spending seventy five million dollars making it the least expensive Mars Mission till date.  The incharge of the mission was Mr. Subbiah Arunan who is an Indian Scientist and Padma Shree Awardee.

K. Radhakrishnan was the chairman and team leader of Indian Space Research Organization. Mylswamy Annadurai was the programme director and incharge of budget management. He also provided directions to spacecraft configuration, resources and schedule. S. Ramakrishnan was the director who helped in the construction of the  liquid propulsion system of the PSLV launcher. Together all these people were involved in planning and execution for India's Mission Mars. The Indian Space Research Organization is in Bangalore.
