Chipko Moment:- Chipko movement was operated by villagers to prevent cutting of trees. Its was a non-violent social movement people grabbed and surrounded the trees tightly to protect trees.
When the people saw them protecting trees they did not cut them and rethink their decision. This movement helped in saving the environment as the forest trees were saved.
