It is mainly used in air conditioners and refrigerators.
With the excessive usage of above mentioned two, we are adding CFCs into our environment and this CFC affects the ozone layer and has a major contribution to the depletion of the Ozone layer.
The depletion makes way for Ultraviolet rays from Sun and increases the temperature of Earth.
