Milk is white because the ingredients are also white in colour and it reflects all the wavelengths of light and doesn’t absorb any color due to its reflectance properties. 

Milk particles like casein, calcium complexes and fats are white in colour and water the major ingredient is transparent and hence milk gets its opaque structure.
