As we learned

work done by a gas -

\omega = \int PdV

- wherein

P is pressure

dV is small change in volume.

 w= n R T l_{n}\left ( \frac{v_{f}}{v_{i}} \right ) = n R T l_{n}\left ( \frac{p_{i}}{p_{f}} \right )

=1\times R\times 300 l_{n}\left ( \frac{1}{2} \right ) = -300 R l_{n}^{2}

work now on gas = 300 R l_{n}^{2}

Option 1)

300 R

Option 2)

300 R ln 6

Option 3)

300 R ln 2

Option 4)

300 R ln 7
