If A, B, C are non-empty sets, then (A - B) U (B - A) = ? Option 1) (A U B) - B Option 2) $A - (A\cap B)$ Option 3) $(A \cup B) - (A\cap B)$ Option 4) $(A\cap B) \cup (A\cup B)$

As we have learnt,

Theorem on Operation -

A-(BUC)=(A-B)U(A-C)

A$\cap$(B-C)=(A$\cap$B)-(A$\cap$C)

-

$(A \cup B) - (A \cap B)$ gives us $(A - B) \cup (B -A)$

As seen in the venn diagram.

Option 1)

(A U B) - B

Option 2)

$A - (A\cap B)$

Option 3)

$(A \cup B) - (A\cap B)$

Option 4)

$(A\cap B) \cup (A\cup B)$
