    [3{Ca(OH)2}.CaF2]

  • Option 2)

    [CaF2]

Food preservatives -

Eg: Sodium benzoate (C{_6}}H{_{5}}COONa), sugar, table salt, salts of sorbic acid and propionic acids

Soluble fluoride is often added to drinking water to bring its concentration upto 1ppm. The F^{-} ions make the enamel on the teeth much harder by converting hydroxyl apatite \left [ 3Ca_3(PO_4)_2.Ca(OH)_2 \right ], the enamel on the surface of the teeth, into much harder fluorapatite  \left [ 3Ca_3(PO_4)_2.CaF_2 \right ].

Option 1)

[3{Ca(OH)2}.CaF2]

Option 2)

[CaF2]

Option 3)

[3(CaF2).Ca(OH)2]

Option 4)

[3Ca3(PO4)2.CaF2]
