Centripetal acceleration -

When a body is moving in a uniform circular motion, a force is responsible to change the direction of its velocity. This force acts towards the center of circle and is called centripetal force. Acceleration produced by this force is centripetal acceleration.

a= \frac{v^{2}}{r}

- wherein

Figure Shows Centripetal acceleration

                                                            for this h = \frac{\omega ^{2}x^{2}}{2g}

\omega = 2\frac{rotation }{sec} = \left ( 2\times 2\pi \right )\frac{rad}{sec}

h = \frac{\left ( 2\times 2\pi \right )^{2}\times \left ( 0.05 \right )}{2\times 10}

h \approx 2cm
