Molality -

Molality (m) = (number of moles of solute)/(mass of solvent in kg)

- wherein

It is defined as the number of moles of solute present in 1 kg of solvent. It is denoted by m.

As we know that:H_{2}SO_{4}+2NH_{4}OH\rightarrow \left ( NH_{4} \right )_{2}SO_{4}+2H_{2}O

20\times 0.2=2m mole\, \, \, 30\times 0.2=6 m mole

final   0      2mmol →2mmol

P^{OH}=P^{Kb}+log\frac{NH_{4}^{+}}{NH_{4}OH}

==P^{Kb}+log\frac4{2}\left [ 2mmol \times 2\left ( NH_{4} ^{+}=4\right ) \right ]

4.7+log^{2}= 4.7+0.3= 5

P^{4}= 14-5= 9
