In a sample of pure silicon 10^13 atom/cm^3 is mixed of phosphorus.If all are active, then what will be the resistivity at 20 degree celsius if mobility of electron is 1200cm^2/v-s ?

Number of charge carriers per phosphorus atom = 1

Density of charge carriers is p

p=10^{13}\times 10^{6}=10^{19}atom/m^{3}

Mobility = n 

n=1200\times 10^{-4}=0.12m^{2}/Vs

Resistivity is given as

\\\rho =\frac{1}{en\mu _{n}}\\ \rho =\frac{1}{1.6\times 10^{-19}\times 10^{19}\times 0.12}\\ \rho =5.2\ \Omega m
