Electric flux through cone or disc-

  

                                                          \phi = \frac{q}{2 \varepsilon_o}(1- \frac{a}{\sqrt{a^2+R^2}})

Put the value of a = 0

then, \phi = \frac{q}{2 \varepsilon_o}
