Orthogonal system of Unit Vectors -

\vec{OP}= \hat{xi}+y\hat{j}+z\hat{k}

- wherein

 

 

\vec{a} and \vec{b} as non-collinear , so they will lie in a plane (partucular), so orthogonal vector to them will be orthogonal on plane as well,so it can be in two directions just opposite to each and perpendicular to plane. Hence two unit vectors.

\therefore option C
