As we have learnt,

Structure of diborane -

It has three centre-electron pair bonds, also called as banana-bond

B2H6 has two types of B-H bond.

  1. B-H_{t}\rightarrow Normal covalent bond (2c-2e bond)
  2. B-H_{b}\rightarrow Bond between three atoms, (B-Hb-B), (3c-2e bond)

 B2H6 has two 3c-2e bonds which is made by bridged hydrogens between the two borons.

Therefore, option(4) is correct
