In a circuit at any junction the sum of the currents entering the junction must equal the sum of the currents leaving the junction . 

This law is also known as Junction rule or current law (KCL)

 

 

Total incoming current = Total outgoing current

\Rightarrow i_1+i_4+i_5=i_2+i_3+i_6+i_7

 \Rightarrow i_1-i_2-i_3+i_4+i_5-i_6-i_7=0
