  • Option 1)

  • Option 2)

  • Option 3)

Work Done for Isothermal Reversible Expansion of an ideal gas -

W= -nRT\ln \frac{V_{f}}{V_{i}}

V_{f}> V_{i}

- wherein

At constant temperature

P\, \alpha \frac{1}{V}

W= -nRT\, \ln \frac{P_{i}}{P_{f}}

as we know that :

The formula of work for (isothermal)

W=-nRT\ln \frac{V_{2}}{V_{1}}

W=-nRT\ln \frac{V_{f}}{V_{i}}

\mid w\mid = nR\left ( \ln V_{f}-\ln V_{i} \right )T

\mid w\mid = nRT\ln V_{f}-nRT\ln V_{i}

\gamma = mx-c

So,The inter cept of curve 2 is more negative than curve 1 because slope of curve 2 is more than curve1 in the graph
