Calculation of Resistance by Symmetry -

Vertical Plane of symmetry:

1. Points on vertical plane of symmetry have same potential

2. Branches which are mirror image about vertical plane of symmetry have same current

Since the circuit is symmetrical about CD there is no current through CD. So power equals zero.
