 For an intrinsic semiconductor, at a finite temperature, the probability of electrons existing in the conduction band decreases exponentially with an increasing bandgap \left(E_{g}\right) 
The relation is n=n_{0} e^{-E_g/2 k_{g} T} 
 

where  E_{g}=  Energy band gap
          k_{B}=  Boltzmann's constant.

Hence, 2 is the correct option.
