As we have learnt,

Mild heating of Borax removes the water of hydration. On further heating, it is converted to Sodium Metaborate and Boric Oxide 

 \mathrm{Na_2B_4O_7.10H_2O\xrightarrow[\Delta]{-10H_2O} Na_2B_4O_7\overset{\Delta }{\rightarrow}2NaBO_2+B_2O_3}

Therefore, option (4) is correct.
