Option (A)

p : 9 - 3 = 5 and 2 + 2 = 5

9 - 3 = 5 is false and

2 + 2 = 5 is also false

Conncetive used is AND

So this statement is false

Option (B)

q : 3 is less than 5 or 5 is greater than 3

'3 is less than 5' is false and

'5 is greater than 3' is true

So one of the component statements is true, and connective used is OR

Hence, q is true.

Option (C)

Is not a statement as component statements are not mathematical statements.
