VITEEE 2020- Vellore Institute of technology engineering entrance exam commonly known as VITEEE is conducted for all those candidates who want to make a career in the engineering field. VITEEE is a national level engineering entrance exam which will be conducted by VIT University. This institute offers admission for 20 various B.Tech programs at VIT Campuses which are located in Vellore, Amravati, Chennai, and Bhopal. The VITEEE 2020 exam held tentatively 1st to 3rd week of April 2020. The authority will be released the VITEEE 2020 Application form tentatively 1st week of November 2019. The registration process for VITEEE 2020 will be available in both offline & online mode. The admission is totally based on candidates performance in the exam.

VITEEE Application Form 2020

The Application form of VITEEE 2020 exam will be released tentatively on November first week 2019. Candidates can fill the application form through online and offline mode as well. candidate have to submit all the required details and scanned photographs and signature and post the application form to the address mentioned on the official website. For online application, form candidates can visit the official website with the fee of rupees 1150/-. Candidates can pay the fee through online mode. For the offline application, form candidates have to submit a demand draft of rupees 1200/- in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’ or through cash payment at the post office as given in the official website of VIT.

VITEEE 2020 Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria have certain parameters which every candidate have to full fill in order to participate in the exam. We are providing you basic eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2020 exam below:

  • Candidate should have been born or after 1 July 1998.
  • The candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian National. PIO and OCI holders will also be eligible for VITEEE examination.
  • Required marks for VITEEE 2020 exam at least an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam for unreserved category candidates and 50% for reserved categories.
  • The candidates from the National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) can apply for the entrance exam.
  • The candidate with any General Certificate Education(GCE) from Cambridge/London/ Sri Lanka with an Advanced 'A' level.
  • The candidate who has given any Pre-University Examination or Intermediate through recognized Board or University are also eligible for the exam.

it is important for all the candidates to know the VITEEE 2020 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. If any candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria would not be allowed to sit for the entrance exam.

VITEEE 2020 Admit Card

The VIT University will release the admit card tentatively 3rd week of March 2020. Candidates must ensure that they have successfully completed the online slot booking process to avail the admit card. To book the slot, the candidate will have to enter the required details like the VITEEE 2020 application number and the password to book the slots. While booking the slots they have to select the date, time, exam centre according to your preference.

  • To download the admit card, first, click on the download admit card link.
  • Complete the slot booking procedure and enter all required details like application number, online test booking password and security code.
  • you will also receive the admit card in their email. For that, you must ensure that you have provided the valid email ID.
  • Take a print out of the VITEEE 2020 admit card and ensure that every detail is clearly visible in the printout.

VITEEE 2020 Syllabus

The syllabus of VITEEE released by the official authority along with the information brochure. VITEEE syllabus is the important thing that every candidate needs to know before starting their preparation. The syllabus of the VITEEE exam is as per the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE syllabus prescribed for class 11th and 12th. The syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English.

VITEEE Exam Pattern 2020

Along with knowledge of syllabus getting familiar with Exam pattern will also help you to make your preparation way easy. With the help of exam pattern, you will get a basic idea about the types of questions expected to appear in the exam,

  • The Duration of the exam is 2 hours 20 min.
  • It is a computer-based test and language mode of the question paper in English.
  • The paper is divided into 4 parts, physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English.
  • The total number of Question is 125 and its a 125 marks question paper.
  • Each part will consist of 40 multiple choice questions except English which will have 5 questions.
  • For each correct answer, you will get 1 mark and the good news is there is no negative marking.
