First we need to find the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 12, 18 and 21

12 = 2X2X3

18 = 2X3X3

21 = 3X7

Least Common Multiple of the above numbers is

2X2x3X3X7 = 252

In order to get the smallest 5 digit number we need to multiply 252 by 40

252 X.40 = 10080

10080 is divisible by 12, 18 and 21 without a remainder
