If the sales of Topaz increased from 1994-1995 to 1995-1996 by 25% and increased from 1999-2000 to 2000-01 by 50%, then what is the difference between the sales of  Topaz in 1994-95 and that in 2000-01?

Sales of topaz is 25 % more In 1995-96 than 1994-95

So 125% = 200

100 % = 160 in 1994 – 1995

Similarly for 2000 – 2001 is 50% more than 1999 – 2000

So, for 2000 – 2001 is = 150% of 200

=300

Difference = 30140, 0000 – 160 = tons
