T_1 \times 0-0.3 g-0.5 g +1 \times T_2=0

T_2=0.8 \mathrm{~g}

\frac{T_1}{T_2}=\frac{1.2}{0.8}=\frac{3}{2}

\frac{x}{y}=\frac{3}{2}

x+y=5
