Statement 1 is correct, Intrafascicular cambium is the primary lateral meristem. Intrafascicular or Fascicular cambium is present between the Xylem and phloem in the form of a narrow strip of primary meristematic cells.

Statement 2 is incorrect because Heartwood is dark in color and part of secondary xylem. It is hard and its tracheary elements have tannins, resins, gums etc.

Option 3 is the correct answer.
