As we learnt ,

Reaction of NaOH with halogens -

1.    With cold and dilute NaOH, hypohalite (NaOX) is formed

2.    With hot and concentrated NaOH, halate(NaXO3) is formed

The reactions are given as:

X_{2}+2NaOH(cold\ \& \ dil.) \rightarrow NaX + NaOX +H_{2}O

3X{_{2}}+6NaOH (hot\ \& \ conc.)\rightarrow 5NaX + NaXO_{3}+3H_{2}O

Where X= Cl, Br or I

Therefore, option(1) is correct.
