# Q. 14.     A circular flower garden has an area of $314\; m^{2}$ . A sprinkler at the centre of the garden can cover an area that has a radius of  $12 m$ . Will the sprinkler water the entire garden? (Take $\pi =3.14$)

It is given that the radius of the sprinkler is $12 m$

Now, we know that

Area of the circle (A) = $\pi r^2$

Area cover by sprinkle is

$\Rightarrow \pi r^2= 3.14 \times(12)^2= 452.16 \ m^2$

And the area of the flower garden is $314\; m^{2}$

Therefore,  YES  sprinkler water the entire garden
