Initial height = $10\ m$

Final depth = $-350\ m$

$\therefore$ Total distance the elevator has to descend = Final position - Initial position

$|(-350) - 10| = 360 \ m$

Also,

Time the elevator takes to descend $6\ m$ = $1\ min$

$\therefore$ Time the elevator takes to descend $360\ m$ =

$\frac{1}{60}\times360\ min = 60\ min$

$= 1\ hour$
