Final depth = -350\ m

\therefore Total distance the elevator has to descend = Final position - Initial position

|(-350) - 10| = 360 \ m

Also,

Time the elevator takes to descend 6\ m = 1\ min

\therefore Time the elevator takes to descend 360\ m =

\frac{1}{60}\times360\ min = 60\ min

= 1\ hour
