Given, 

Base diameter of the cone = d=10.5\ cm

Slant height = l=10\ cm

We know, Curved surface area of a cone = \pi r l

\therefore  Required curved surface area of the cone=

\\ = \frac{22}{7}\times \frac{10.5}{2}\times10 \\ \\ = 165\ cm^2
