Any number that can represent  in the form of $\frac{p}{q}$  $(where \ q \neq 0)$ is a rational number

Now, we can write 0 in the form of  $\frac{p}{q}$  for eg. $\frac{0}{1},\frac{0}{2},\frac{0}{-1}$  etc.

Therefore, 0 is a  rational number.
