(iv) Mean = \frac{Sum\ of\ observations}{Number\ of\ observations}

\\ = \frac{6+ 4+ 3+ 8+ 9+ 12+ 13+ 9}{8} \\ = \frac{64}{8} \\ \\ = 8

Hence, the statement is False.
